Another free on-line work of ICCROM (International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restauration of Cultural Property), entitled “ICCROM and the Conservation of Cultural Heritage. A history of the Organization’s first 50 years” by Jukka Jokilehto was published yesterday on the web-site. It deals with the evolution of the Organization together with the gradual development of conservation and restoration as a profession (which is still a much-discussed subject).
